Stephanie Polgar graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an honours degree in Criminology and Psychology in 2012. She completed her Juris Doctor at Queens University in 2015 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2016. While attending law school Stephanie worked as a student member of the Correctional Law Program where she represented inmate clients before the National Parole Board and penitentiary disciplinary court. As a volunteer member of Pro Bono Students Canada she provided informational seminars on parole hearings to inmates at Collins Bay Institution in Kingston, Ontario. After graduating, Stephanie articled with Heller, Rubel and joined the firm following her call to the Ontario Bar.
Stephanie assists senior partners on serious criminal cases including large scale frauds, sexual assaults, and murders. In addition to assisting senior partners, Stephanie carries her own case load which focuses on criminal, quasi-criminal, and regulatory matters at both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice.
